Here She Is

She is sad and beautiful. She cries in the car on the way home because the rain and the dark are an unfortunate combination. She listens to Taylor Swift every single day. She is a hopeless romantic. She loves hugging her parents after a long day at work and talking with her sisters. She loves her bed, her friends, and her family. She is starting to love herself. And I mean genuinely love herself. She falls hard and loves deeply. She loves God and her church. She has found confidence that her opinions and views matter and are valid. People do confide in her and care what she thinks. Some days, she is empty. Other days, she is full. Music is her safe haven. God is with her always. She is fearfully and wonderfully made. She has no reason to fear.
